Oscar Best Picture Nominees of the 10s by Setting

I often enjoy taking quizzes at Sporcle and sometimes I create my own. This is about the settings of Oscar-nominated films. The idea that the Oscars are more in love with the definite past than the indefinite present and the future is especially prescient in a listing like this.

Just saw three new Oscar BP nominees: 1917, Parasite, Little Women plus Judy

The Oscars really hit it out of the park with their best picture selections. Even if I wasn't as moved by Marriage Story than others, I think it's an excellent choice (for contrast purposes on what's usually done in that genre) for a curated list of nine great films to represent this year.

"1917" and "Parasite" blew me away and "Little Women" is an excellent film as well. Greta Gerwig's film required me to overcame my genre bias but once I did that, I thought it was a wonderful film.
